Completing the Circle

Sherri grew up in a family that moved frequently. In the Girl Scouts, she found a source of continuity and belonging she could turn to wherever they lived. When Sherri retired from a successful banking career, she joined the volunteer board of the local Girl Scouts council, but found herself sitting silently at meetings, unsure how to speak or act.

My coaching helped her tap into her skills and experience from the for-profit world, find her voice, and realize her dream of completing the circle.

Finding a Balance

Shannon, the executive director of a successful research foundation, felt overworked and taken for granted. Feeling unable to delegate, she was working long hours to "do it all" herself, and spending less time with her family. She was on the brink of leaving the foundation when she asked me to be her coach.

As a team, we worked on finding a balance for Shannon. Having a trusted coach's support gave her new confidence to take risks, focus on her strengths, and make changes for the better.

It's Never Too Late

Grace had moved from a career in chemistry to nonprofit work, but felt restless and dissatisfied. She'd been unable to fulfill her dream to be a writer and artist. We worked to discover what was holding her back. As Grace confronted her "gremlin," she renewed her creative pursuits, and found the courage to resolve a decades-old regret.
